Kids Experiments - Weaving pattern
Step 1 : Take chart paper of two different colours - like green & blue.
Step 2: Cut each into 20 strips of about 20 cm length & 1 cm width.
Step 3: Arrange the green strips parallel and close to each other.
Step 4: Take a blue strip. Hold it perpendicular to the green strips. Pass it above
one green strip, then bellow the next green strip, then above the next ,
and so on.
Step 5: Take another blue strip and do the same but in reverse way.
Step 6: Compare the pattern you get with the pattern of a cotton cloth seen through
a magnifying glass. Do they look similiar?
